PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Faculty Presentation
Our 45-minute staff development presentation for first –year
schools provides a complete overview of the GET.A.VOICE™ program,
a brief background of research related to teasing and verbal bullying,
the philosophy of GET.A.VOICE™, how it works, and how GET.A.VOICE™
proactively addresses language and empowers students. Optional for
second-year schools.

Faculty Training Session
A new and exciting three-hour Faculty Training Session for veteran
and first-year GET.A.VOICE™ Coordinators and a team of up
to 6 staff members per school is held off-campus to facilitate making
GET.A.VOICE ™ a school-wide reality.
Our training session is both experiential and interactive training
includes:
· Understanding the impact language and communication
plays in student interactions;
· Identifying and deepening implementation strategies
specific to your building;
· Exchanging and exploring ideas for planning ancillary
activities in the curriculum areas.

GET.A.VOICE ™ Network
The GET.A.VOICE™ Network provides each school team from participating
schools with a powerful forum to exchange curriculum ideas and practices
during three 2-hour focused workshops after school in November,
January, and March. GET.A.VOICE™ Coordinators will be invited
to co-facilitate these sessions.

Parent Meeting
To bridge the home-school connection and garner parental support
for this program, a parent presentation highlights how GET.A.VOICE™
works, how teachers incorporate it into the classroom, and the skills
children gain by being a participant in GET.A.VOICE. Optional for
all schools.
PROGRAM
MATERIAL
Classroom Educator Kits
Each school orders the number of Classroom Educator Kits needed
for each participating teacher. Each Kit contains materials for
28 students.
· Grades K-2 Classroom Educator Kits
· Grades 3-8 Classroom Educator Kits

Special Area Educator Kit
Each special area kit contains materials for 25 special area adults,
such as: administrators, secretaries, psychologist, pupil personnel,
special area staff (art, music, phys. ed., health, etc.) librarian,
nurse, teaching assistants, monitors and aides, etc.

18x24” Color Posters
These large color posters with a positive message are great for
display in hallways, classrooms, cafeteria, anywhere!

GET.A.VOICE™ Bracelets
New three-color marbleized GET.A.VOICE™ bracelets are just
what kids asked for! Great for school fundraiser!
PROGRAM
COSTS
GET.A.VOICE™ varies according to student population. For
example, the cost to implement GET.A.VOICE™ for a first-year
school ranges between $2.32 per student (approximately 1100 students)
to $ 4.07 per student (approximately 400 students). Smaller or private
schools are priced accordingly. Let us help you plan for your school!
